Title: Product Manager – Search TechnologyJob Location: Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
§ Help to define the innovations and new user experience of Yahoo! Search and search products. Breakdown complicated ideas into simple principles. Tie technology to user needs and company strategy. Help to deliver world-class quality products
§ Work closely with the engineering teams and designers. Utilize data and broad business knowledge and to use these insights to determine what is important.
§ Collaborate with multi-functional/multi-regional teams to elicit, understand, rationalize and prioritize requests for new functionality.
§ Explore new business and product opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
§ Experience of defining product concepts and convert concepts into detailed product designs
§ Proven ability to work with cross-functional groups and drive product lifecycle
§ Strong customer orientation and ability to build rapport
§ Great ability in identifying customer needs and align these needs with technology
§ 5+ years experience in building global products
§ 3+ years product management experiences in Internet industry, especially search technology
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
Preferred Job Qualifications
§ MBA or MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
§ Working experience in an international corporation
§ Product experience in building mobile applications, social network applications and science driven applications
